Secret Notes on Silk Cultivation Published in 1802 by Morikuni Uegaki
Written in layman’s terms, this book was very popular among people engaged in the silk cultivation industry throughout Japan. In 1848, the book was translated into French and is commonly referred to as the first export of technology from Japan.
